Soaking in hot tub to clean and relax is something very pleasant. We enjoy the whirling water, the fragrance of the soap, the softness of foam, the real relaxing experience. But, what do you feel when our hot tub is dirty, looks dull and lusterless? Of course, we do not want to bathe in a hot tub with bacteria and grimes inside. So, we need to do the hot tub maintenance regularly. Hot tub maintenance is very important to keep the hot tub clean and health in order to endorse the pleasure.
Before starting the hot tub maintenance process, we have to prepare first the tub maintenance utilities such as a scrubber, a water hose, hot tub chemical cleaners, water sampling sticks, and chlorine tablets. These hot tub maintenance utilities are available in the market.
Beware of the faucet water, although it looks clean and clear, it may still contain many materials and elements which can stick to the surface of the hot tub. The materials and elements can be concentrated in the different locations of the faucet water with various levels of concentration. To overcome this thing, it is good to bring a water sampling stick to the store to find the right hot tub chemical for eliminating the unexpected particles. This action has become a part of hot tub maintenance.
Hot tub maintenance should be done once a week. First, drain the hot tub completely and then wash it with hot water. Second, apply the chemical cleaner to the scrubber and to the surface of the hot tub. After that, scrub the wall, deck, and floor intensely but carefully until the dirt is removed and its color glitters. When all the parts have been cleansed, rinse the chemical with the hot water again, let it dry, and wait for several hours before filling the hot tub again.
To lessen the intensity of regular hot tub maintenance, it is suggested to put some chlorine tablets into the water at least once a week. The usage of chlorine tablets is intended to sanitize the water and avoid the bacteria and dirt from sticking to the hot tub surface. It also to keep the pH levels of water. In hot tub maintenance, it is also important to use chlorine tablets in the right dose. Too much chlorine tablets can induce odor and makes the bathing uncomfortable. The lack of chlorine tablets used can make the bacteria and other grime survive.
